Keren Or Farm (Hebrew for Ray of Light Farm) is Israel’s leading treatment center for Oct 7th survivors, victims and bereaved families coping with trauma and loss, through evidence-based Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT).

Keren-Or Farm was established in 2017 by Keren-Or Solomon. Following the tragic events of Oct 7th, 2023, the “Hilly Center for Loss and Trauma” was founded, in memory of Keren-Or’s sister, Hilly Solomon, who was brutally murdered at the Oct 7th Nova Festival.

Trauma-Informed Therapy – EMDR (Evidence-Based)

An evidence-based trauma therapy using structured bilateral stimulation (eye-movement sets) to process traumatic memories while supporting grounding, safety, and co-regulation throughout the therapeutic process.

Post-Traumatic Growth Paths

Supporting survivors and family members in transforming trauma into meaningful action by creating initiatives of giving from trauma survivors to other survivors, while reconnecting participants with their inner strengths and capacities for resilience.

Animal-Assisted Therapeutic Modeling & Inspiration

Using the observation of animals’ natural self-regulation as a therapeutic mirror that invites emotional projection and reflection.
Participants explore questions such as “What is the horse feeling?” as a pathway to recognize, process, and regulate their own emotions.
